About APM Wilayah Persekutuan
The Federal Territory Civil Defence Office is an office that was established to provide emergency services and operational services that operate 24 hours a day. This office was opened in 1975 and was known as the Kuala Lumpur Civil Defence Department.

In mid-June 2008, the Kuala Lumpur Civil Defence Office was renamed the Federal Territory Civil Defence Office in line with the rebranding of JPA3 to JPAM, the Malaysian Civil Defence Department. The new restructuring was carried out to manage the overall administration of the Department in the Federal Territory more effectively.

The Federal Territory Civil Defence Office or PNPA WP supervises other Territories in Malaysia, namely the Federal Territory of Putrajaya and the Federal Territory of Labuan.

To date, PNPA WP has opened several new Civil Defence District Offices. There are five Civil Defence District Offices (PDPA) under the Federal Territory Civil Defence Department, namely PDPA Putrajaya, PDPA Labuan, PDPA Dang Wangi, PDPA Sentul and PDPA Cheras.
